If your existing cabinet boxes are structurally sound, cabinet painting or door replacement costs far less than full replacement and can completely transform the look of your kitchen. If you do want new cabinets, our Essential builder line starts at $2,500 installed.

What are your cabinets made of?

Every cabinet we install features 100% solid wood doors and frames, soft-close metal door hinges, and dovetailed drawer boxes. Our Premier lines (Shaker, Oslo, Brooklyn) are built with 1/2" plywood cabinet boxes, full-overlay five-piece doors with solid wood stiles and rails, 5/8" solid wood dovetailed drawer boxes, full-extension soft-close undermount glides with ball bearings, and natural birch veneer interiors. Our Essential line uses 1/2" engineered wood sides with a plywood back, partial-overlay doors, and 5/8" solid wood dovetailed drawer boxes.

Are your cabinets certified for indoor air quality?

Yes. All of our cabinet lines are KCMA certified, CARB II compliant, and TSCA Title VI compliant, meaning they meet strict standards for low formaldehyde emissions and safe indoor air quality.

Do soft-close doors and drawers come standard?

Soft-close door hinges come standard on every line. Full-extension soft-close undermount drawer glides are standard on our Premier lines. On the Essential line, drawers are 3/4-extension standard and can be upgraded to soft-close for a small additional cost per drawer.

Do you offer custom cabinets?

We don't build 100% custom cabinetry from scratch. What we offer is often a better value: high-quality prebuilt cabinets installed in custom layouts, combined with factory modifications that tailor cabinets to your exact space - a custom kitchen without custom-cabinet pricing or lead times.

Can cabinets be modified to fit my space?

Yes. A wide range of factory modifications is available, including reduced or increased cabinet depth, reduced cabinet height, painted interiors, converting cabinets to open shelving, sink base or microwave conversions, full-depth shelves, doors routed for glass inserts, range hood adjustments, and trim cut to custom lengths.

Can you work with an odd or awkward kitchen layout?

Yes. Between the range of standard sizes and available modifications, we can work with tight walls, low windows, sloped ceilings, angled corners, and older homes that aren't quite square. We measure precisely up front and provide professional renderings so you can see exactly how everything fits before anything is ordered.

How long does cabinet installation take?

For most kitchens, cabinet installation takes 1 to 2 days. Larger kitchens, or projects that include both a kitchen and bathroom vanities, may take longer.

How long until my kitchen is usable again?

Most kitchens are fully usable within 5 to 10 days, depending on countertop scheduling. Cabinets are installed and ready in 2 to 5 days, countertops are templated and installed next, and then we return to complete appliance installation and backsplash.

How long does it take to get cabinets after I order?

Lead time is typically about 2 weeks from order to delivery. With installation taking 1 to 2 days after that, most projects go from approved design to finished kitchen in well under a month.

What does the process look like from start to finish?

It starts with a free consultation where we measure your space and discuss your goals, budget and style. We provide professional renderings so you can see the design before committing. Once you approve the design and sign off, we place the order. Cabinets typically arrive in about two weeks, and our in-house crew handles installation.

Do you provide design renderings before I buy?

Yes. We provide professional renderings on every project and get the design signed off by the homeowner before we order anything - no surprises, no costly reorders.

Do I need to be home during installation?

No. Once we've measured, finalized the design and you've approved everything, you don't need to be present. We'll walk through the finished work with you at the end.

Do I need a permit for new cabinets?

In most cases, no. If we're installing cabinets in a similar layout and not moving electrical or plumbing, no permits are required. If you change appliance locations or need plumbing or electrical work, we can take care of that and pull the necessary permits for you.

Do you remove and haul away my old cabinets?

Yes, if you'd like us to. Many homeowners choose to sell or donate their old cabinets instead, which we're happy to work around.

Do you clean up after the job?

Yes. We clean up thoroughly - when we're finished it looks like we were never there, except for your new kitchen.

Do you install sinks, faucets, and appliances?

Yes. Along with your cabinets we can handle sink and faucet installation, appliance installation, and backsplash.

Do you repair cabinets, or only replace them?

We do both. When a full replacement isn't needed, we repair. Cabinet repair is often far more affordable when your existing boxes are sound but doors, drawers, hinges or finishes are worn.

Do you offer cabinet refacing?

We don't offer refacing, but we do offer two strong middle-ground options: cabinet painting and door replacement.

Can you paint my existing cabinets?

Yes. Cabinet painting is one of our core services. Painting existing cabinets can dramatically update a kitchen at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Can you match or add on to my existing cabinets?

In some cases, yes - we can add on to existing cabinets. However, we can't match every cabinet, since it depends on the door style, finish and age of what's already in your home. We'll tell you honestly whether a match is realistic.

Do you install countertops?

We don't currently supply or install countertops, but we work with several trusted local fabricators and are happy to provide referrals. We'll coordinate with your fabricator on timing and measurements.

Do you do more than cabinets?

Yes. We handle complete home remodeling including kitchen and bath remodels, tile, drywall, dry rot and termite repair, siding repair, decks and patios, and painting.

Do you work with restoration and insurance contractors?

Yes. We partner with damage restoration companies to handle the cabinet scope on insurance jobs. We offer 20% off every cabinet bid, we're experienced with Xactimate and know how to write the notes and comments that get estimates approved the first time, and we provide two quotes - like-for-like to submit to insurance and as-desired to order. What if a cabinet arrives damaged?

We inspect every delivery on arrival. Because we handle inspection and any claims for you, you don't have to worry about paperwork or deadlines. If something arrives damaged, we deal with the manufacturer and get a replacement moving.

Can I change or cancel my order after approving it?

Orders go into production quickly, so changes and cancellations have a very short window and may be subject to fees. This is exactly why we provide professional renderings and get your written sign-off before we order anything.

Our Cabinets

We offer four cabinet lines. Essential (Builder Series) - functional, stylish and affordable in White or Gray, the practical choice for rentals, flips and value-focused kitchens, from $2,500 installed. Shaker (Premier Series) - our most popular line, crisp, classic and versatile in six painted and stained finishes including Designer White, Sand, Kodiak and Moss. Oslo (Premier Series) - modern, minimal and elegant with a slim profile, in rift white oak, classic walnut and bright white. Brooklyn (Premier Series) - transitional and chic with a slim shaker profile, in six painted finishes from Bright White to Midnight, Slate, Fawn and Pearl.

Warranty

Yes. Our cabinets carry a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, and we match that with our own 5-year labor warranty on installation - so both the product and the workmanship are covered for five full years. The manufacturer warranty applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Like most cabinet warranties, it does not cover natural variations in wood color, texture or grain, changes caused by humidity or temperature, minor door warpage, or damage from misuse or alterations made after installation.
